A few years back the following message suddenly appeared on the French Bulldog Network Site....as if by magic:

A 2 Breed History according to Italian Greyhound Queen Gracie:

Once upon a time during the Dark Ages an exquisitely beautiful canine Queen gave birth to twin sons. These twins were not identical. One was short, stocky and stubborn with a tendency to snore. The second was small, skinny, and swift with a tendency to piddle. The first twin became THE KING of FRANCE and eventually fathered a whole new and wonderful breed of dogs called French Bulldogs. The second became THE KING of ITALY and fathered a whole new and wonderful breed called Italian Greyhounds (or Iggies). Over the centuries Frenchies and Iggies continued to love one another and to this day are close cousins. When one is in trouble....BOTH are in trouble.

Right now the French Bulldog and the Italian Greyhound communities are united in their support of The French Bulldog Rescue Network. As a result of our current weak economy FBRN has been accepting nearly one rescue per day...AND YES...YOU HEARD THAT RIGHT! Expenses are at an all time-high.

Below is gorgeous French Bulldog Jewelry!! Each piece is available in either sterling silver or black patina sterling silver. For those of you with black Frenchies...the black patina is especially lovely! (Black patina is made using a special acid treatment. Black patina sterling should NOT be cleaned using conventional sterling polish.) Although some of this jewelry has been photographed in gold...it is NOT available in gold...just in sterling. (However, if you are either independently wealthy or willing to hock the family farm and INSIST on having one of these pieces in 14K gold...please e-mail Judy privately).
